Job Description
Position Summary
The Regional Supply Chain Planner is responsible for ensuring product availability across assigned regions through effective inventory deployment, replenishment planning, and inventory management. This role owns key supply chain metrics including OTIF, backorders, inventory, DIOH, and E&O while maintaining appropriate safety stock levels to support customer demand.
The position also serves as a reporting and analytics resource for the planning organization, developing dashboards, reports, and KPI visibility tools that drive data-driven decision making and process improvement. This role partners closely with Commercial, Order Management, Distribution Centers, Manufacturing Sites, and Global Supply Planning teams to optimize service and inventory performance across the network.
Key Responsibilities
Execute inventory deployment and replenishment plans to ensure product availability and service level targets are achieved.
Manage regional inventory levels, safety stock parameters, and replenishment strategies.
Monitor and drive performance against OTIF, backorder, inventory, DIOH, and E&O targets.
Identify supply risks and implement mitigation plans to minimize customer impact.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI scorecards using Power BI, Excel, and SAP data.
Serve as a reporting and analytics SME, driving standardization and automation across planning processes.
Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Order Management, Distribution Centers, Manufacturing Sites, and Supply Chain teams to resolve supply and inventory challenges.
Provide planning support across multiple regions as business needs require.
Support continuous improvement initiatives, process standardization, and supply chain transformation projects.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Planning, Deployment Planning, Replenishment Planning, or a related field.
Experience working with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and supply chain planning systems.
Experience with data analysis, reporting, and KPI management.
Skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Systems-first mindset with a focus on leveraging technology and automation.
Highly coachable with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in medical device, diagnostics, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
Knowledge of deployment planning, DRP, inventory optimization, and supply chain KPIs.
Experience with SAP APO, SAP IBP, or other advanced planning tools.
Experience developing automated reports and dashboards.
