Description

We are seeking a result-oriented Account & Relationship Management Executive to join our ANZ team. You will drive growth across the Ovid portfolio within Australia and New Zealand through a combination of new business acquisition, strategic account development, and solution-based selling, by building strong networks with key decisionmakers and influencers across hospitals, health services, government health organisations, and healthcare networks, while developing and executing territory plans that deliver sustained revenue growth.

This is a Full-time Permanent position, based in Sydney or Melbourne (hybrid working setting) #LI-Hybrid

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • New Deal Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new customers and business opportunities within the assigned territory, developing targeted sales strategies to engage prospective clients, expand market presence, and drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition.

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute territory and account strategies to engage prospective customers, address business challenges, and position Wolters Kluwer solutions effectively.

  • Pitch and Presentation: Deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and value-based discussions that clearly communicate the benefits of our solutions.

  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations, manage objections, and guide stakeholders through the purchasing process to successfully secure contracts and renewals.

  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline within Salesforce, accurately forecasting opportunities and reporting on progress against sales targets.

  • Travel/Customer Facing: 60%

ABOUT YOU

  • 5+ years field sales experience

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles, proven track record in solution sales, subscription-based content or technology is highly preferred

  • Demonstrated experience engaging C-Suite or selling at an institutional level, i.e.: clinical / information market.

  • Education Level: Bachelor degree or above

  • Strong business development and solution-selling capability with a focus on new business growth.

  • Ability to develop and execute effective territory and account strategies.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage objections and close opportunities.

  • Proven ability to build relationships with clinical, operational, executive, procurement, and IT stakeholders.

  • Highly organised with strong pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline.

  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Adaptable and confident delivering customer engagements both virtually and in person.

Highly Desirable:

  • Deep working knowledge of CRM tool & excellent IT skills (Office/CoPilot)

  • Knowledge of Health/Hospital/Quality Improvement industry and/or Publishing/Information industry

  • Experience with SaaS Sales:  Understanding of navigating budget, IT and procurement for new products ideally in healthcare.

  • Experience negotiating complex sales such as consortia or government tenders.
