What You’ll Do:

• Oversee daily security operations to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff
• Monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular property inspections
• Lead, train, and mentor security team members, fostering professionalism and accountability
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and guest concerns with effective solutions
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency response teams as needed
• Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and prepare detailed reports for management
• Implement and enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures to protect guests and property
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication regarding safety issues
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism
• Organize and conduct security drills and training sessions to enhance team preparedness
• Maintain accurate records of security activities and incidents for compliance and accountability
• Stay updated on current security trends and best practices to continually improve operations
• Assist in developing a comprehensive risk management strategy for the resort
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs
• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned
• OVERNIGHT POSITION

Your Qualifications Include:

• Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in security management or a related role
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and emergency response procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Certification in security management (e.g., Certified Protection Professional - CPP)
• Experience in hospitality or resort security
• Familiarity with surveillance systems and security technology
• Proficient in conflict resolution and crisis management techniques
• Previous experience collaborating with law enforcement agencies
• Multilingual abilities to enhance communication with diverse guests

Wage range for this position, based on experience, is $28.44 to $35.55.
