Insurance Agent 

Build a career helping Wisconsin families, farms, and businesses protect what matters most. Rural Mutual Insurance is seeking motivated individuals to build relationships, serve their communities, and grow a successful insurance business in Wausau and surrounding communities. Insurance experience is welcome but not required. Through our financed agent program, we provide salary support, licensing assistance, coaching, and the tools needed to succeed. 

As an Insurance Agent, you'll develop customer relationships, identify insurance needs, recommend solutions, build community partnerships, and grow a book of business throughout Wisconsin. Successful agents come from a variety of backgrounds including sales, customer service, education, agriculture, banking, healthcare, military service, and business ownership. 

We invest in your success from day one through a base salary, commissions, bonus opportunities, training, and ongoing coaching. Agents meeting performance expectations generally earn between $75,000 and $85,000 in their first year.
