Purpose of the Position

Hexagon Mining is seeking an organized and proactive Commercial Controller – EMEA to support the day-to-day activities of our regional commercial organization.

The role will support the sales team throughout the commercial process, from receiving a customer Purchase Order (PO) through order processing, logistics, delivery, invoicing, and revenue recognition.

The Commercial Controller will work closely with Sales, Finance, Logistics, and Operations to ensure orders are processed correctly, information is kept up to date, and any delays or issues are identified and followed up.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to develop experience in commercial operations within an international technology and mining organization.

Major Areas of Responsibility

• Coordinate customer orders from PO receipt through order processing, delivery, invoicing, and revenue.

• Review POs and commercial documentation for accuracy and completeness.

• Track open orders, deliveries, and expected revenue dates and follow up on outstanding actions.

• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Logistics, and Operations to support timely order fulfilment.

• Support logistics activities, including shipment coordination and required documentation.

• Maintain accurate CRM, order, and commercial information.

• Prepare regular reports covering order intake, backlog, deliveries, and revenue.

• Support the sales team with day-to-day commercial administration and internal processes.

• Identify delays or issues and escalate them to the appropriate team or manager.

• Support month-end and quarter-end commercial activities.

Knowledge and Experience – Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• 0–2 years of relevant professional experience.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Good numerical and analytical skills.

• Good communication skills and ability to work with different teams.

• Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and Office applications.

• Professional fluency in English.

• Proactive, reliable, and willing to learn.

Knowledge and Experience – Desired

• Previous internship or work experience in sales administration, finance, logistics, customer service, or commercial operations.

• Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems.

• Basic understanding of order processing, logistics, or invoicing.

• German or another European language would be an advantage.

Travel

Occasional travel may be required.
