Staff Attorney

MB2 Dental is a growing Dental Partnership Organization (DPO) that supports a nationwide network of dental practices while preserving the integrity of private practice dentistry. Through strategic partnerships, MB2 provides affiliated dentists with the resources, guidance, and operational support needed to succeed.

 

We are seeking a Staff Attorney to join our Legal team. This position will support a broad range of legal matters, including litigation management, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, internal investigations, and business operations support. The Staff Attorney will serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, helping identify legal risks and provide practical business-focused solutions across a dynamic, multi-state organization.

 

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 3-6 years of legal experience with exposure to litigation, dispute resolution, contract review, or corporate legal matters.
• Experience managing legal matters and working with outside counsel.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to assess legal risk and provide practical business-oriented recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior in-house counsel experience preferred.
• Experience supporting multi-site organizations, healthcare organizations, or other highly regulated industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance on a variety of business, operational, and compliance-related matters.
• Manage litigation matters and coordinate strategy with outside counsel.
• Support internal investigations and assist with dispute resolution efforts.
• Advise business leaders on legal risks and recommend practical solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare analyses related to emerging legal and regulatory developments.
• Support compliance, governance, and risk management initiatives across the organization.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop policies, procedures, and best practices that minimize legal exposure.
• Monitor ongoing legal matters and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
