We’re Hiring: Project Manager – K-12 Construction (SCUC ISD)

About LMC Corporation

LMC Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our SCUC ISD contract. This position is responsible for managing multiple small-to-medium construction and renovation projects within occupied educational facilities while serving as the primary point of contact for the school district.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in K-12, municipal, or public-sector construction and excels at client communication, project coordination, budgeting, and schedule management.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from planning through closeout.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day liaison with district representatives.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular status updates.
• Review estimates, change orders, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and safety standards.
• Monitor project quality, schedule, and financial performance.
• Produce weekly project progress reports and updates for district stakeholders.

Requirements

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of construction project management experience.
• Experience managing K-12, municipal, or public-sector construction projects.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Proficiency with RS Means CostWorks or similar construction estimating platforms.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred

• Experience working in occupied school environments.
• Knowledge of Texas public procurement and maintenance construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
