What you can expect
- Create, review, and maintain material data submissions in the International Material Data System (IMDS)
- Analyze material and substance information received from suppliers
- Verify data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
- Support the collection and validation of material declarations and compliance documents
- Communicate with suppliers regarding missing information, corrections, and data quality issues
- Assist in tracking and resolving IMDS rejections and customer feedback
- Maintain databases, reports, and compliance records
- Support compliance activities related to automotive regulations and restricted substances
- Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, quality, and supplier management teams
- Participate in continuous improvement activities related to material compliance processes
What you'll bring
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work with databases and large volumes of data
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to learn technical systems and compliance processes
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Organized and structured way of working
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Willingness to learn automotive standards and regulatory requirements
