Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with object owners to define the migration scope, including identification of required migration objects and migration approach.
- Plan and manage the data migration sub-project, ensuring alignment and coordination with key stakeholders such as developers, functional data owners, and IT object owners.
- Establish and enforce migration standards, including methodology, templates, repositories, and documentation practices.
- Monitor migration activities, manage issue resolution (including error tickets), and provide regular status updates to project management.
- Integrate data migration cut-over activities into the overall rollout cut-over plan and transition ownership to the project management team.
- This role is primarily site-based and requires on-site presence at the KE Plant in Chennai, India, especially during the entire project phase, to enable close collaboration with stakeholders involved in master data maintenance activities.
- Post completion of the India Rollout to global template, the individual will own the Master data governance role specifically related to India plant.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Business Administration, Engineering or Equivalent Education
- Minimum of 9+ years’ experience in any Master data management handling (preferred if into Material/Customer/Vendor handling)
- Minimum of 5+ years into End-to-End IT Project management handling, if into any SAP (ERP) data migration, is an added advantage.
- A recognized project or program management qualification would be an added advantage.
- Experience leading, motivating, and managing various project and program teams, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
- Good business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to adapt style to be successful with all stakeholders, incl. senior leaders.
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
