Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time - Distribution Center in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a logistics and distribution location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, observe and report unusual activity, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
