Overview
Celanese is growing its footprint with a new Engineer Technical Support in Limburg/Belgium.
We are re looking for a dynamic and curious Technical Solutions Engineer to help shape it from the ground up. This is an ideal opportunity for an electrical or mechanical engineer who wants more than a job — someone ready to build a long-term career within a company that leads with its products and invests in its people.
You'll work hands-on with technical problem-solving, supporting equipment, processes and solutions across the site, while collaborating with a diverse, international team. Responsibilities
You will be involved in the following tasks:
- Works cross-functional and with Global Technical Solutions / Sales / Manufacturing to achieve AT global sales objectives.- Supports Global Technical Solutions with customers to determine and execute value added activities.- Run independently all filter making / testing equipment (including maintenance)
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
- Demonstrated technical, analytical, and mechanical skills. - Statistical analysis skills to include: Design of Experiments, ANOVA, data analysis, Minitab, and development of control schemes.- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt Operations (preferred, not exclusive) - Proficient in MS Office. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent presentation skills. - Ability to interact with customers at all levels. - Engineering degree / background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred) - Willing to travel domestically and internationally (10%)
