The Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides primary and preventive healthcare services focused on workplace health and safety. This role evaluates and treats work-related injuries and illnesses, performs physical examinations, manages occupational health programs, and promotes employee wellness. The NP collaborates with employers, employees, healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with occupational health standards and facilitate safe return-to-work practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Conduct pre-employment, annual, and fitness-for-duty examinations.
• Manage workers’ compensation cases and coordinate return-to-work plans.
• Perform drug and alcohol screenings and medical surveillance programs.
• Provide health education, injury prevention, and wellness counseling.
• Maintain accurate medical records and regulatory documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote workplace safety and employee health.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing.
• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure and board certification.
• Experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, family practice, or emergency medicine preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, workers’ compensation, and occupational health regulations.
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
