Niche Sales Capture Manager – Brisbane QLD
We are looking for a skilled Sales Capture Manager to leverage your business development and sales experience in supporting origination activities and further develop existing customers. In this role, you will qualify, shape, sell, and close sales pursuits.
Our dynamic Supply Chain & Engineering (SCE) team offers a broad range of services, including consulting, design, engineering, electrical, construction, management, and implementation. As part of our team, you'll work at the forefront of innovative solutions in Process Control, PLC, SCADA, Safety, Telemetry, GIS, and Industrial IT.
As a key member of our team, you will drive the bid and sales process throughout its entire lifecycle, taking ownership at each stage to ensure success.

Our Supply Chain & Engineering (SCE) purpose is to complete the promise of Total Enterprise Reinvention. Driving safety, sustainability, productivity and competitive advantage in our clients’ front-line functions. Our Supply Chain & Engineering (SCE) engineering team provides electrical and process control engineering, procurement, construction and management services to the mining, oil and gas, infrastructure, and manufacturing industries across Australia and overseas.
THE WORK:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager in our QLD to lead the origination and sales capture process for engineering service opportunities. Key responsibilities include:
- Driving and supporting the origination of engineering service opportunities for clients, with a focus on Industrial Networking and new generation Control Systems and platforms.
- Developing and managing win strategies, negotiation plans, and leadership requirements throughout the sales process.
- Creating solutions for complex engineering and business challenges, leveraging in-depth knowledge of client needs.
- Orchestrate and lead the bid/sales process across the entire sales lifecycle, taking accountability for each step
- Engaging with clients through proposals, workshops, and commercial discussions, with a proactive, hands-on approach to shaping and closing deals
- Managing the internal sales process within Accenture, including bid management, navigating opportunities through Accenture’s CRM, securing approvals, and providing regular leadership updates.
- Support the Client Account/Service Group’s pipeline of work, through effective pipeline and account/ customer management
- Achieve sales targets, budgets and profitability metrics
- Demonstrate strong stewardship by supporting the next generation of sales capture leads
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in sales management or business development within the process and industrial automation industry, or a similar high-tech, solutions-based environment.
- Technical Skills: Proven experience selling solutions (rather than just products), with a strong understanding of control and automation systems technologies, including PLC, RTU, SCADA, Telemetry, MES, Networking, and IoT. Experience in Rockwell , Schneider, Aveva and Siemens systems would be advantageous.

- Proven ability to build relationships with senior leaders in client and partner organizations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
- Well-established network within the local QLD Resources market in Manufacturing, Mining or O&G.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
