Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory / Warehouse Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for moving, tracking, and managing materials throughout our facility to keep production running smoothly and fulfill department requisitions. You will handle inventory transactions using specialized software, maintain accurate stock records, and collaborate with a high-performance team dedicated to safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities Include
- Gather and distribute materials from inventory to various departments.
- Pick parts for production orders.
- Pick material for stock requisitions generated by the Sales Department and other departments.
- Receive completed material into inventory and safely store it in appropriate locations.
- Enter inventory transactions into the computer system, print assorted inventory documents and labels, and use the computer to inquire about part status and history.
- Maintain work area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
- Contribute to the success of the team by submitting ideas, identifying potential problems, providing feedback on procedure changes, and displaying a positive, cooperative attitude in working with others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills / Qualifications
- Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED; and 1 to 3 months of related experience.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of inventory software; proficiency in entering transactions and looking up part status/history.
- Communication: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Problem Solving: Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form, and ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
