Move Coordinator – JLL
What this job involves:
The Move Coordinator is responsible for delivering seamless office move experiences that prioritize customer satisfaction and operational excellence. This role manages the complete move lifecycle—from initial planning and coordination through post-move follow-up—ensuring transparency in communication and accurate reconciliation of all move-related costs. You'll serve as the central point of contact for small and large office relocations, partnering with internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients to execute flawless transitions. This position plays a critical role in supporting JLL's commitment to exceptional workplace services and contributes directly to employee productivity and satisfaction during office changes.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Customer Experience Management
- Manage new hire onboarding information and coordinate with administrators and managers to ensure smooth transitions
- Conduct detailed planning sessions with admins and team managers to guide them through move logistics, blocking strategies, and relocation details
- Maintain and update the move matrix with comprehensive customer information and technical requirements
- Assess cubicle conditions, order missing parts, and coordinate ergonomic adjustments
- Review and validate move lists, identifying and resolving potential issues proactively
- Analyze furniture layouts and determine optimal locations for files, storage, and mobile workstations
- Distribute move materials including boxes, labels, pin-ups, and detailed move instructions
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and move vendors, communicating desk additions and last-minute seating changes
Move Execution
- Schedule moving vendors and coordinate security access, including badging requirements
- Arrange disconnection and reconnection of IT equipment, servers, printers, and phone systems
- Manage on-site check-out and check-in processes, ensuring all personnel are properly located
- Provide on-site supervision for all vendors and customers throughout the move day
- Conduct post-move walk-throughs and coordinate necessary adjustments with vendors
- Arrange vendor services for power and data installation as required
- Submit service tickets for space cleaning, key distribution, and furniture placement
Post-Move Support & Administration
- Deliver welcome communications with new location information and site services details
- Resolve issues related to lost or misplaced items
- Coordinate vendor services for scrap removal, furniture recycling or reuse, and excess chair removal
- Schedule pickup of crates and moving boxes
- Update seat assignments following projects and incremental moves for accurate reporting
- Complete special projects and administrative duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a corporate environment
- Strong customer service and hospitality orientation with proven ability to build rapport
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence in client-facing interactions
- Proficiency with information technology tools and platforms
- Strong analytical and organizational capabilities
- Professional presentation skills and executive presence
- Comfort level conversing with client managers and senior stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree (preferred but not required)
- Experience pulling and interpreting data for reporting and analysis
- Basic project management skills and methodology knowledge
- Proven track record in customer relations and vendor relationship management
- Familiarity with workspace planning and office move coordination

Atlanta, GA – 1105 West Peachtree Street (West Peachtree location)
Work Shift:
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday (On-site position)
Salary:
$45,700 to $60,120 annually
