We’re hiring for a hybrid role. You’ll work on-site with your team several days each week (typically 2–3), with the specific days set by your manager. Because regular in-person collaboration is central to this job, we look for candidates who live within about 50 miles of the office.

We are hiring for a Collaboration Tools Administrator. In this role you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining a suite of collaboration tools, primarily focusing on Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence. This role will ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security of these systems.  The system administrator will act as a liaison between IT teams, developers, and end-users to ensure seamless functionality and enhanced productivity across the organization.


Location: Hybrid Herndon, VA, Richardson, TX or Salt Lake City, Utah

Responsibilities:

  • Drive results by troubleshooting issues, connect with key stakeholders, and continue to improve support processes.
  • Assist in optimizing and improving collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheets, Zoom, Adobe, and Box, for setup, workflows, and integrations to identify where functionality needs to be improved to meet user requests, and leading the effort to implement the changes.
  • Develop mechanisms to automate manual processes.
  • Provide Jira domain expertise in discussions regarding governance within Jira.
  • Responsible for creating, managing, and supporting all administrative functions associated with the Atlassian product suite primarily supporting Jira and Confluence.
  • Provide procedures, guidance, and assistance, to Information Technology teams in the maintenance, tracking, monitoring, allocation, initial configuration, and deployment of both new and existing collaboration tools.
  • Continue to maintain up-to-date knowledge and awareness of IT best practices, systems, and solutions.
  • Familiarity with administrative functions in Smartsheet, Adobe, Box, DocuSign is a plus.
  • Perform user access review for in-scope applications.
  • Assist in providing 2nd and 3rd tier support for in-scope applications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or related experience
  • 2-4 years of application administrative experience including Jira and Confluence.  Experience in Box, Smartsheet, Adobe, DocuSign is a plus
  • Proven track record in troubleshooting, problem solving, creating documentation / knowledge base articles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with various teams and departments within the organization and build constructive relationships.
  • Ability to multi-task, document processes, and manage on-going multiple projects is required
  • Be highly organized, a gifted problem solver, and a quick learner

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:

$102,700.00-137,900.00 USD

The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
