Description
Talis Group’s client, a small law firm located on Louisville’s east side, is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant to support two attorneys in personal injury litigation. This position is full-time and direct-hire, offering paid time off and retirement savings opportunity. This position provided administrative and case management support.
Highlighted Duties:
- Document management and client intake support.
- Calendar and deadline management.
- Assist with discovery and document preparation.
- Assist with billing as needed.
- E-filing with court system.
Highlighted Requirements:
- Must have good people skills and able to interact well with new people in person and over the phone.
- Must understand legal procedures and terminology.
- Experience with pre litigation and litigation desired.
- The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Adept at working in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- This position also requires the aptitude to work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Prior experience in a personal injury firm desired.
