Reporting to: Miles Stephens (via Project Team)
Contract Type: Internship (with potential part-time flexibility)
Role Overview
This internship provides operational and project support across the HL&A run-off portfolio, with a particular focus on the French book. The role combines day-to-day operational activity with exposure to project delivery , offering a broad view of both business operations and change initiatives.
There is flexibility for part-time working to support additional contracting activity where required.
Key Responsibilities
HL&A Operations
- Respond to email queries from policyholders and support claims teams across:
- France & Belgium (French-speaking customers)
- UK / English-speaking customers
- Manage returned mail relating to project communications
- Provide administrative support to team leaders and wider team members
- Assist with general operational tasks across the HL&A portfolio
Project Support – Project Echo
- Support the Project Echo Program Manager with day-to-day activities
- Provide support to the Operations Lead on project delivery tasks
- Assist with coordination, tracking, and administrative elements of project work
Ad-hoc Activities
- Support additional tasks where French language skills are beneficial
- Contribute to work involving external partners (e.g., handling queries linked to commission buyouts or payment challenges)
Skills & Experience
- Fluent or strong working proficiency in French (preferred)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and administrative capability
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Comfortable working in both operational and project environments
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word)
