Overview
To lead the development of the testing strategy of a complex hardware and software solution. test and evaluate software products for the company and influence continual technical learning within the department, as well as improving Informatics test-related technologies, processes, and practices.
The Lead Product Manager (Evaluation) should focus on product and organization success. They should consider long term product goals and strategy while building the current project. The visibility and exposure should be organization wide, should be recognized as an expert in a certain domain, is accountable to share widely the knowledge, participate and organize formal or informal training or workshop sessions at least quarterly throughout a year, support management with business decisions. The Lead Product Manager (Evaluation) should also mentor new hires and less experienced colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute test strategies and test plans for different programs by applying the appropriate testing approaches in a complex mechanical and software integrated system.
- Design, develop, execute, deploy, maintain software tests (design acceptance tests using Gherkin format, get familiar with the Visual Studio testing environment, Build up the testing environment etc.)
- Carry out all responsibilities in accordance with the Quality Policy and all applicable procedures, contributing to the regulated environment audits (internal and/or external, ISO certification, LRQA certification, etc.)
- Actively contribute at improving our practices to optimally support the software development activity.
- Identifies, communicates and offers mitigation of risks.
- Looks for ways to improve existing products, showing constant interest in product utilization.
- Participates in new candidates interviews and assists management in the hiring decisions.
- Collaborate with the business representatives contributing to user stories defining, product backlog refinement and suitable acceptance tests sketching.
- Understand the department’s product suite and their position in the marketplace.
- Contribute to self-improvement, team mates’ improvements and continuous evolution mind-set – increase work efficiency and effectiveness with each product delivery.
- Adapts to changes in business needs, assesses and supports management with resources allocation and performance monitoring.
- Applies deep and advanced knowledge, support, analysis or design in an area relating to specific sciences and technologies.
- Participate in and give feedback in team ceremonies and meetings.

Qualifications
- Degree (or equivalent) in a science related subject.
- 10+ years in software testing or analytical laboratory
- Excellent communication skills (in English), good inter team and department collaboration when required.
- Experience in application of technical standards.
- Can adapt to modern AI and ML tools and use them in daily tasks.
- Experience on Chromatography Data Systems.
- Atleast should have hands-on working experience on one of the CDS i.e. Empower, Chromeleon, OpenLab , LabSolutions, BrukerCDS, or SciexCDS.
