Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a Electrical Engineer in the Atlanta GA area
Job Summary
We are seeking an analytical Electrical Engineer to join our technical design team. In this role, you will produce detailed construction drawings, draft technical specifications, and perform engineering calculations for power, lighting, and emergency systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary partners to deliver high-quality solutions across mission-critical, industrial, or commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

System Design & Analysis: Design medium- and low-voltage power distribution, interior/exterior lighting (including photometrics), and emergency power systems (UPS, generators, transfer schemes).

Engineering Calculations: Perform electrical load calculations, fault current analysis, selective coordination, arc flash, voltage drop, and Neher-McGrath thermal evaluations.

Drawing & QA/QC Production: Develop panel schedules, equipment specs, and Revit models while participating in internal QA/QC reviews to ensure drawing accuracy.

Code Compliance & Construction Support: Conduct code analyses (NEC, NFPA, IBC) and manage construction-phase tasks including RFI responses and submittal reviews.

Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Partner seamlessly with architectural, structural, mechanical, and low-voltage teams to integrate building designs.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with 0–7 years of electrical engineering design experience.

Licensure: E.I.T. certification or active pursuit of P.E. licensure preferred.

Software Competency: High proficiency in Autodesk Revit for electrical modeling, paired with strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word).

Industry Focus: Experience in mission-critical, industrial, or commercial environments preferred.

Core Strengths: Excellent organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a high-paced, deadline-driven setting.
