Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Instructor, you will manage all tasks related to providing engaging and effective instructor-led certification courses.
Every day you will prepare and deliver course content, facilitate learning, assess participant progress, and ensure a high-quality educational experience that leads to successful certification.
To be successful in this role, you will possess strong instructional design and delivery skills, expertise in your subject matter, and the ability to effectively engage and motivate participants toward certification achievements.
- Prepares for, leads, and follows up as needed for each class they are instructing.
- Ensures completion of all administrative tasks to meet needs of specific course (e.g., cards, materials, rooms, resources as needed).
- Maintains instructor status through particular regulatory agency.
- Maintains required licensure/certification/registration for the position.
- Consistently meets the needs of customers/patients – puts those needs first.
- Demonstrates teamwork by collaborating with co-workers within the department; helping co-workers in other disciplines; showing flexibility in scheduling; volunteering for special projects and new assignments.
Job Requirements
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Appropriate instructor license, certification and continuing education required as defined by the certification course being instructed.
Preferred
- Previous instructor experience.
