Join Our Care Team
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) to join our team. CRMAs are assigned to our Residential Care area. In addition to a 40-hour CRMA certification, the candidate must also possess a Personal Support Specialist (PSS) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
Position Summary
The Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA)/Personal Support Specialist (PSS) is responsible for providing high-quality care and support to residents in a residential care setting. This role includes administering medications as a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) and assisting residents with activities of daily living as a Personal Support Specialist (PSS). The CRMA/PSS works as part of a team to ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment while promoting resident dignity, independence, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Medication Administration (CRMA Duties):
- Administer medications accurately and safely in accordance with state regulations and facility policies
- Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and potential side effects
- Maintain accurate medication administration records (MARs)
- Communicate any concerns or changes in resident condition to nursing staff
Personal Care & Support (PSS Duties):
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding when required
- Provide companionship and emotional support
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a dual certification, including a current 40-hour CRMA and PSS or CNA
- Ability to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, residents, families, and supervisors
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Basic computer skills
Shift Available
Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Hours: Part-Time, 20 hours per week
Schedule: 16/24-hour schedule
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
