Description
Job Title: Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (Outpatient Clinic).
Job Summary: We are seeking a versatile, customer-focused Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to manage patient flow and assist healthcare providers with clinical and administrative care across all age groups (infants to geriatrics). In this role, you will work collaboratively with clinic supervisors and providers to deliver high-quality patient intake, perform routine clinical procedures, and ensure a seamless clinic experience.
Compensation & Pay Ranges:
- Medical Assistant Rate Range: $22.23 – $27.37 / hour (commensurate with experience).
- LPN Rate Range: $24.50 – $32.77 / hour (commensurate with experience).

Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Intake & Patient Care: Manage patient flow, perform standard rooming processes, obtain vital signs, review health histories, and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
- Medications & Admin: Administer immunizations, injections, and provider-directed medications safely and accurately.
- Laboratory & Specimen Collection: Perform clinical laboratory specimen collection, phlebotomy, and routine in-office lab testing as directed.
- Clinic Operations & Administrative Support: Provide telephone support, facilitate patient-provider communication, assist with prescription refills, handle front desk/check-in operations, process prior authorizations, and manage supply inventory.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- For Medical Assistant Candidates:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent [Required].
- Program Graduation: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (e.g., ABHES or CAAHEP accredited) OR graduate of a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) program with relevant clinical experience [Required].
- Certification: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification [Required].
- For LPN Candidates:
- Licensure: Active State LPN/PN License [Required].
- Certification: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification [Required].
- Core Competencies: Strong communication skills, adaptability across age groups, proficiency in EHR systems, and a commitment to collaborative, team-based clinical care.
