Description
General Responsibilities (full job description will be provided upon interview):
- Receives referrals during business hours from the Department of Children and Families, Law Enforcement and other referral sources.
- Obtains all necessary information and completes intake form.
- Assigns cases in a timely manner to the case coordinator, according to procedure, on a rotating basis taking into consideration availability, caseload, etc.
- Keeps accurate documentation of all referrals received which includes updating a referral log.
- Schedules medical exams, interviews and other appointments using Microsoft Office Outlook and SharePoint calendars.
- Notifies Case Coordinator, appropriate agencies and families of scheduled appointments.
- Data entry.
- Bachelors degree required, with a preference in Public Health, Social Sciences, Criminal Justice, Criminology, Nursing, Psychology or Human Services Related Field and at least one year experience Working with children and families.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to operate computers with proficiency.
