At Bob’s Discount Furniture, we have fun, we love what we do and it shows in our expansive growth!  Bob's Discount Furniture is currently looking for a high energy Repair Technician

The primary function of a Repair Technician is to open, inspect, deluxe, and rewrap product for special inspections on the Shipping dock. Repair Technician repair any pieces brought from the Shipping department that were found to be damaged during the loading process. Repair Technician is stationed at the Repair Shop to open and inspect all product brought to this area from Returns or within the DC. Repair Technician will determine the final disposition of these pieces.

Responsibilities:  

• Repair Upholstery and Case  Product
• Inspect for flawed or damaged product
• Work with Shipping Personnel to replace damaged goods
• Report potential QC issues
• Determine final destination of all damaged product
• Perform both Regular and White Glove Special Inspections
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Restore packaging to manufacturing specifications
• Performs additional duties as requested

  Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 2-3 years of Repair Experience
• Solid knowledge and competence on:
  • Case Goods repair
  • Upholstery repair
  • Ability to identify product
• Good verbal and listening skills
• Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve
• Strong interpersonal and human relations skills
• Ability to work overtime (extended hours and/or additional days)

  This work schedule conisist of Sundandy through Thursday.

Expected Base Pay Not Including Potential Commissions, Incentive, Bonus, etc. Opportunities:
