Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Driver in Bay Minette, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a caring, team-oriented culture while acting with integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation in daily security-related operations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, documenting observations and irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Assist with security-related support for employees, contractors, and deliveries while following established site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
