This seasonal Terrain Park Attendant, is an hourly position that assists in the daily operations of the Frisco Adventure Park. This position helps in the safe operation of the rope tow operated terrain park and ski/ride hill. The responsibilities include site set up, feature maintenance and placement, Hand/rake grooming, daily operations, rope tow operation and overall safety of the operation. Responsible for delivering exceptional guest service through safe and efficient loading and unloading of the rope tow. Coordinate and communicate with guest service staff to ensure seamless, safe and effective Adventure Park Operations. The Terrain Park Attendant may also be asked to assist with ski/ride hill operations, tubing hill, special events, guest services and other Adventure Park activities. This position works with other staff members to effectively rotate through the different stations, ensuring the team receives appropriate breaks.

Desired start date: 11/19/2026 & estimated end-of-season date: 4/11/2027
Schedule requires holidays, evenings, and weekends. Generally four (4), ten (10) hour shifts. Operating seven (7) days a week.
Essential Functions
- Take ownership of daily operations of the Terrain Park and all associated preparations for daily operations.
- Engages in hands-on labor, in the overall maintenance of the site including but not limited to; Rope Tow, rails, boxes, tubes, jumps, and snow guns.
- Perform daily logs and risk management assessment of terrain park, including feature layout and placement and necessary signage.
- Effectively test features, monitor daily maintenance, and open/close features when appropriate.
- Ensures the safe operation of rope tow. Includes daily inspections and testing per DORA regulations and assists the team during inspections.
- Monitors and maintain snow surfaces to ensure safe and consistent ski/ride conditions.
- Daily tasks may include; minimizing risks, building and maintaining terrain features to meet the demand of guests, preventative maintenance, cleaning, inventory recording of existing PRA infrastructure, and implementing safety precautions.
- At times operate machinery, trucks, UTV, snowmobile, power tools. Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area which includes but is not limited to; pump house, yurt, tube storage, and maintenance facility.
- Assist with terrain park special event prep, private rental set-up, and private team training sessions and/or after school terrain park programs.
- Ensure all opening and closing procedures of Frisco Adventure Park and Day Lodge are completed.
- Communicate with management in a timely and professional manner verbally and in writing to resolve guest issues and ensure safety.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all Adventure Park pass holders and guests by giving appropriate information, directions, and conducting all transactions with a smile, eye contact, and clear communication.
- Follow industry safety practices regarding the use of technical equipment. This includes but is not limited to, the rope tow, magic carpet, snow guns, snowmobiles, snow blowers, and all other machinery.
- Remains alert and vigilant to provide instructions to guests and identify possible problems requiring the immediate stoppage of the rope tow or lift.
- Respond to incidents or emergencies as covered in the training manual. Report all incidents to management in a timely manner.
- Answer repetitive questions, scenarios, and tasks with professionalism, politeness, and courtesy.
- Interact with and maintain professional attitudes and relationships with guests, co-workers, and management in a positive, professional manner at all times using appropriate language and conversations.
- Inform guests of Adventure Park safety practices, operating rules, and regulations and help to enforce these rules as necessary. Also responsible for making sure guests are prepared for changing weather conditions.
- Work in a team-based environment supporting the Adventure Park, Recreation Department, the Town of Frisco, and the initiatives of the Director and Managers.
- Utilizes on-slope communication equipment and processes to ensure appropriate communication, to ensure appropriate safety response and guest service.
Marginal Duties
- Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding all Adventure Park and Recreation Department programs, facilities, and services.
