Job Description Summary
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will lead all sales efforts and oversee performance KPIs, including orders, margins, and down payment collections. Reporting to the GM of Sales for APAC, you will collaborate closely with Commercial Operations, Sales Operations & Risk, and Commercial Finance. You are responsible for driving the commercial strategy to achieve GE Vernova’s short, medium, and long-term profitable growth objectives within your assigned region.Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Execution
- Commercial Planning: Execute the commercial strategy and deployment plan aligned to regional segmentation. Develop a 3-year strategic commercial roadmap and annual order targets with optimized margins.
- Value Optimization: Implement and maximize value optimization strategies in partnership with Product Line, Engineering, and Commercial teams.
- Deal Structuring: Manage complex deal structures and risk assessments to ensure successful execution without margin degradation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Supply Chain, Projects, and Product teams to maximize customer opportunities and ensure long-term profitable growth.
Customer Engagement
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships across all levels of customer organizations. Act as the primary advocate within GE Vernova to resolve major customer issues.
- Customer Strategy: Develop proactive, long-term regional strategies that leverage GE Vernova’s strengths in problem-solving and reliability.
- Voice of the Customer: Provide critical feedback to internal teams to influence the development of new products and solutions.
Performance & Leadership
- Business Planning: Work with leadership on volume planning, product competitiveness, and execution capabilities.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain strong rigor in reporting, documentation, and the ability to make high-stakes decisions with limited or conflicting data.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications -Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Management from an accredited institution.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in the wind power or power generation industry.
- Functional Expertise: Significant experience in sales, commercial functions, and the negotiation of supply or service contracts.
Skills:
- Strong process analysis, problem-solving, and strategy development capabilities.
- Proficiency in modern IT tools and AI-driven applications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English fluency required).
- Ability to lead diverse, cross-functional, and matrixed teams.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and travel extensively.
