Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing pick-up and delivery service for a variety of items at various locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Transport items safely to and from a variety of locations within allotted timeframe.
- Ensure proper care of items handled during transport
- Follow proper safety, environmental and infection controls methods
- Load, transport, and deliver items in a timely manner
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
Maintains appropriate logs and records.
- Prepare reports or other documents relating to deliveries and/or use of SCRMC company vehicle
- Adhere to appropriate requirements when operating SCRMC company vehicle
Provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure deliveries are complete and accurate
- Maintain a polite demeanor and ensure positive interactions with all employees and customers

Requirements
Education & Licensure:
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
Experience:
- No previous experience required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction and manage multiple demands and priorities
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting, driving a vehicle
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and reaching
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
