The OS Product team uses market insight to turn OS's world-leading mapping and location capabilities into products and services that delight our customers and deliver our business strategy
The Product team defines the vision and strategy for our product portfolios & services, identifying where we can create the most value for customers, and lead delivery from idea through to market. By combining market insight, product strategy and close collaboration with Data and Technology teams, we ensure our products are aligned to real customer needs, perform effectively through their lifecycle, and evolve over time to maximise their impact.
The Opportunity
As a Product Manager at OS, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of new and existing products, as well as their performance in the Networks portfolio (Transport and Water Network). Working closely with the portfolio team, you’ll lead the development of the product roadmap items, balancing market demand, technical feasibility and affordability; ensuring that our products continue to deliver meaningful value to customers and partners.
You will act as the central point of expertise for all products in the Network portfolio, championing product understanding across the organisation and ensuring OS remains customer‑centric in everything we deliver.
What You’ll Do
Own the success and lifecycle of products across the Networks portfolio, from proof of concept through to launch and withdrawal.
Develop product strategies based on customer insight, market understanding, target customers, product value and taking a profitable product to market.
Create and maintain a balanced, outcome-based product roadmaps aligned to portfolio and business strategy.
Act as the subject matter expert for OS Networks products, championing product understanding across the business and at external events.
Review product performance using scorecards, KPIs and customer outcomes to inform evidence-based roadmap decisions.
Provide product leadership in cross-functional delivery teams, promoting innovation, accountability, transparency and customer focus.
Plan and manage user engagement, applying appropriate research methods to capture insight and support roadmap priority decisions.
Engage with users, customers, OS Partners and external stakeholders, translating feedback into product improvements and new opportunities.
Communicate product strategy, performance and roadmap decisions confidently to colleagues, senior stakeholders and external audiences.
Build strong relationships with operational and customer-facing teams to support compelling product storytelling through mechanisms such as blogs, campaigns and external communications.
Contribute actively to the Networks Portfolio and the wider Data Product Management teams, working closely with Strategic Product Managers and Associate Product Managers.

You are a self-directed, product professional with experience managing product performance and roadmaps in a customer-focused environment. You make data driven decisions, engage stakeholders effectively and balance commercial, technical and customer needs to deliver products that create meaningful and measurable value.

You share insight and expertise, understand customer use cases and focus on what matters most. Curious and outcome-driven, you ask thoughtful questions, take ownership and collaborate with others to drive positive business change.

Salary – £56,755.00 - £66,215.00 (dependent on experience)
