What You’ll Do  

Day to day management of clients innovation centre

Day-To-Day Responsibilities 

Event Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide onsite presence and support during high-profile client visits and events.
• Ensure all AV systems (multiple display screens, audio, video) are functioning properly.
• Provide immediate troubleshooting for technical issues during live events during normal working hours.

 

IT Infrastructure Management

• Oversee and maintain the IT systems that power the AV setup (servers, networking, control systems).
• Ensure connectivity and integration between AV and IT systems.
• Perform routine checks and updates on hardware and software to maintain reliability.

 

Supplier & Stakeholder Liaison

• Act as the primary point of contact for internal IT teams regarding AV/IT integration.
• Coordinate with the AVI-SPL help desk, external suppliers and technicians for maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Work with the Service Delivery Manager to support service contract activities and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.

Additional responsibilities

 

Production Setup & Management

• Set up and manage small-scale productions, including audio and video equipment.
• Configure and operate cameras, microphones, and lighting for optimal quality.
• Handle live streaming and virtual broadcasting requirements.

 

Virtual Event Management

• Manage multi-camera setups (2–3 cameras) for multi-presenter sessions.
• Operate content mixing tools (e.g., vMix) for dynamic presentations.
• Ensure seamless integration of slides, videos, and live feeds during virtual events.

What We’re Looking For  

Skills and experience we are looking for:

 

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AV systems: display screens, projectors, video walls, audio mixers.
• Strong knowledge of video conferencing platforms (Teams, Zoom, Webex).
• *Experience with live streaming software and production tools (vMix, OBS).
• Understanding of signal flow, cabling, and connectivity (HDMI, SDI, IP-based AV).
• Familiarity with networked AV systems, servers, and IT infrastructure.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity and IT compliance for AV systems.

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving under pressure.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and presenters.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team during high-profile events.
• Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail.

 

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in corporate experience centres, studios, or event production.
• Knowledge of networked AV systems and integration with IT infrastructure.
• Experience with multi-camera live production and virtual event workflows.
• Vendor management and coordination experience.
