About The Team

Our Chiropractic team is part of Murdoch University's School of Allied Health and is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based chiropractic education. We are a collaborative team of clinicians, educators and professional staff who support students through hands-on learning, supervised clinical practice in our on-campus clinic, and community outreach initiatives.

We foster a supportive, professional and student-centred environment, preparing graduates with the skills, professionalism and collaborative approach needed to thrive in diverse healthcare settings.

Your New Role!

This is not your typical clinic reception role. As part of a busy teaching clinic, you'll work in an environment where no two days are the same, supporting both clinic operations and student learning.

We're looking for a confident, organised and adaptable administrator who enjoys variety, takes initiative and can confidently manage competing priorities. You'll also play an important role in guiding students in reception and administrative processes.

As the Clinic Reception and Administration Officer, you will work closely with the Clinic Manager to provide high-quality reception and administrative support, coordinate clinic activities and contribute to a positive experience for patients, students and staff.

The position is rostered across Monday and Wednesday from 7.00am to 3.30pm (including a 30-minute meal break), Tuesday (5 flexible hours) and alternate Saturdays from 7.30am to 4.00pm (including a 30-minute meal break). Flexibility is essential, as clinic operating hours may vary from year to year and may involve early starts, later finishes and occasional additional hours to provide leave coverage and support clinic operations. While the roster pattern may change in 2027, the fortnightly hours will remain consistent.

Please refer to the Position Description for further details.

What We Offer You!

This Continuous, Part time (25 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $82K – $91K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

You’ll join a dynamic and talented team where diversity and innovation thrive. Our Silver-tier status in the Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI), awarded in 2025, reflects our commitment to LGBTIQA+ inclusion, equity, and creating a safe, welcoming environment for all. We strive to be the university of choice for First Nations peoples, honouring Indigenous knowledge. Sustainability is central to our community and guided by clear, confident leadership, we are working toward an ambitious future with goals of net zero emissions and zero waste by 2030.

As well as the flexibility to maintain a work life balance, our staff enjoy a vibrant, natural campus with world-class facilities, along with a variety of benefits, including:
