Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Pennington, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help to deter incidents, respond to alarms, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that works with integrity to maintain a secure environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial facilities, including interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and support site entry and exit procedures in accordance with location requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
