🚀 Project Overview
You will join the Go-To-Market (GTM) Data Platform engineering team for a world-leading enterprise in HR technology and global hiring platforms. In this role, you will help modernize and automate enterprise sales and lead-routing processes, building scalable backend systems and integrating AI-driven sales development (AI SDR) workflows to power the client's broader GTM data infrastructure.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Microservices & Automation: Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend microservices and automation workflows using Java or Python.
- CRM Integrations: Develop and integrate custom backend solutions with Salesforce APIs, focusing on EVO, Omnichannel, and automated lead assignment rules.
- AI Tooling & Routing: Build systems supporting AI SDR automation workflows, including Ghost User configurations, Calendly API integrations, and webhook-driven lead routing engines.
- Platform Ownership: Directly contribute to and maintain the internal GTM Data Platform codebase to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in active Agile delivery sprints, tracking task execution and deliverables using JIRA within a structured engineering framework.
💡 Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering, API integrations, and CRM automation systems.
- Strong hands-on proficiency in either Java or Python.
- Proven experience building RESTful APIs and developing webhook-driven architectures.
- Hands-on experience developing for the Salesforce platform or building direct Salesforce API integrations.
- Practical understanding of CRM automation architectures and complex lead routing mechanisms.
- Solid experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and tracking work via JIRA.
- Experience working effectively in distributed, remote-first teams.
- Fluent English for daily written and spoken communication.
🌟 Nice-to-Have Skills
- Practical experience writing Salesforce Apex code.
- Hands-on integration experience with the Calendly API.
- Prior exposure to building or integrating AI-assisted sales development tools (AI SDR).
🌐 Time Zone & Collaboration
The role requires close collaboration with technical teams aligned to US Eastern Standard Time (EST). High overlap with North American working hours is required to participate in daily standups and architectural syncs.
