Qualifications:
- This is for a second-shift position.
- Perform equipment checks & PMs.
- Strong general mechanical, electrical, and plumping aptitude.
- Start/Stop, Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain FAC equipment.
- Self-starter, prioritize work orders based on deadlines and equipment issues.
- Ability to read & understand system blueprints and specifications.
- Ability to use electrical meter, meggers, and amp clamps. 480V and below systems.
- Ability to learn all FAC equipment.
- Respond to equipment downtime.
- Responsible to 5S & COP all areas, including desk, worksite, tools, and FAC spaces
- Min. 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Climb ladders, stairs, work from heights/roof, walk distances, work in hot/cold climates, lift 50lbs.
- Work OT, Weekends, Holidays as necessary. Support weekend coverage rotation.
- Report to work during harsh weather conditions.
- Ability to work on a team.
- Ability to utilize scissors lift, boom lift, fork truck, Crane/hoist.
- Responsible to locate tools, supplies, materials to job site including carrying items upstairs & to the roof.
- Must be US citizen.
- Driver's license required.
- HS diploma or GED equivalent; Vocational Tech, Trades School preferred.
- Candidates will possess an intermediate knowledge of computers and software.
Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Performs preventive maintenance activities on facility following written instructions. PM activities include measurement of wear, replacement of expendables (i.e. belts, hoses, fluids, filters, etc.) and inspection/evaluation of operating characteristics such as speeds, pressures, vacuum, or vibration
- Completes repairs including rebuilding of pumps, valves, electrical and pneumatic solenoid devices, and air handling equipment. Completes general building repairs, including repair of walls, doors, floors, etc. Completes repairs to plumbing system including fixing leaks and repairs or replacement of sinks, piping, valves, drains and toilets. Repairs and maintains lighting systems throughout the plant. Replaces lighting components, ceiling tiles, and ceiling grid throughout the buildings and offices
- Must be able to complete PM and work order activity in CMMS.
- Keeps working area neat. Assists in keeping facility clean. 5S & COP.
