Primary Accountabilities:
Operational
- Receive, or prepare on behalf of internal leaders, purchase orders for various goods and services purchased on a corporate basis; review the order for accuracy
- Determine appropriate, approved vendors for the order; compare prices; evaluate vendor offerings to ensure that all requirements are met
- Determine to whom the order is awarded
- Process the order with selected vendor and follow-up through delivery of goods or services
- Confirm that terms and delivery dates are accurate
- Evaluate competence of vendors and review their invoices for accuracy
Analytical
- Maintain database regarding vendors’ performance and quality of product(s)
- Source detailed information with regards to new or existing vendors; work as directed to evaluate the information obtained and seek approval to add or remove vendors from Inmar’s approved list
- Perform analysis of procurement data as requested by leadership
- Assist with developing key purchasing metrics; responsible for tracking information related to such metrics on a regular basis
- Provide analytical support for leadership, particularly with regards to larger or more complex purchases
Leadership
- Provide training and guidance to more junior team members
- Assist with hiring and onboarding new team members as needed
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors in business, accounting or related field required
- 5-7 years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training required
- Strong experience with Oracle ERP system or similar ERP system
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google suites
