Description
General nature of position:
Supervise and coordinate the fulfillment activities within all departments for the Caja & order fulfillment systems, pick, packing, and decant stations. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring communication with all fulfillments key staff, proper distribution of workflow, pack wave management within High Jump Exotec, WMS, and Pyramid WCS, a solid understanding of priority cut off for all channels, strict adherence to departmental policies and the timely processing to accommodate
SLA requirements, ability to monitor OPT report for fulfillment with a solid understanding of open workload assessment. Act as a resource and support the implementation and execution of the Shortage, Safety and Training Programs.
Assists Ops Manger by identifying work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedite workflow. Plan layout of fulfillment areas.Identifies specific employees for special recognition or those who may require coaching, to improve their efficiency and effectiveness. Assures special labeling, or other non-routine shipping instructions are followed. Determines space requirements and position of shipment in trucks and lays out position of shipment as needed.
Ensures that each employee attends the appropriate orientation, safety training & equipment certification classes. Under the direction of the Sr. Operations Manager, is responsible for conducting annual performance evaluations.

Oversees fulfilling order activities to ensure quality, accuracy, completeness, and condition, timing, and quality of shipment.
Examines work for exactness, neatness, & conformance to policies and procedures.
Studies incoming product, waves and other records to determine fulfillment priorities, work assignments & fulfilling methods required to meet shipping schedules.
Conducts weekly meetings as needed to address fulfillment goals, short term and long-range plans, the departmental and individual work schedules, changes affecting shipping policies and procedures, equipment maintenance and safety issues.
Establish shift schedules during special, seasonal, and periodic peak periods and slowdowns.

Trains and advises employees on care and preservation of goods, specifically how to store, pick, pack, and ship; methods and use of equipment in handling storing, maintaining, and shipping stock.
Issues oral and written instructions.
Reports discrepancies (ordering, quantity or quality) to the management.
Solicits information and suggestions on how to specifically improve the distribution system, i.e. receiving, labeling, and scheduling from the DC employees.

Cross training with other departments; supporting other departments as needed, general housekeeping of the department and its surrounding areas
QUALIFICATIONS: Required qualifications needed in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.
Education/Certifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Work Experience:
1 to 2 years’ experience with facility maintenance in a medium to large distribution center or manufacturing operation.
1 to 2 years’ experience in a leadership role or similar role
Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, WMS system experience, similar or same supply chain software being used currently at the site
Experience with automated and manual operations in a distribution center
Skills/Competencies:

Work as a team member by interacting and communicating with co-workers and managers in a cooperative constructive manner.
Proficient understanding of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
