Accountable for global employment taxes at Sandoz, partnering with P&O Operations (HR), country P&O Heads, Global Mobility, Equity, Payroll, Finance, and Group Tax to ensure compliance and manage risk.

Job Description

Major accountabilities: 

  • Lead proactive reviews of employment tax compliance.
  • Support payroll and employment tax audits with tax authorities.
  • Review income tax and social security treatment for globally mobile employees.
  • Coordinate across Global Mobility, M&A, Reward, Compliance, Finance, Equity, Tax, and Payroll teams.
  • Monitor legislative changes in income tax and social security globally.
  • Lead or contribute to employment tax projects involving:
    • Business travellers
    • Equity compensation
    • Benefits in kind
    • Trailing payments
    • Payroll governance

 Key performance indicators:

  •  Feedback from internal partners and client groups - P&O Services delivered on time with the right level of quality

 Minimum Requirements: 
  Work Experience:

  • Professional tax qualification (CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • 5+ years of employment tax and social security experience.
  • Strong employment tax expertise, including cross-border and expatriate taxation.
  • Experience dealing with tax authorities and managing audits across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and risk management capabilities.
  • Fluent English.

 Languages:

  • English.
