Job Summary
Pull, process, and ship expedited shipments from the B18 Cross Dock shipping lanes while supporting B18 receiving dock load creation. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, inventory accuracy, schedule flexibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while taking initiative and escalating non-standard or impacted issues as needed.Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review emails and the SPT expedite list daily to identify priority shipments, locate required items, and physically move inventory to the FedEx shipping line.
Pull, stage, process, and ship expedited shipments accurately and on time while supporting urgent business needs.
Use SAP to create stock transfer orders and sales orders for all items moved to the FedEx line.
Create loads for B18 receiving for all inbound containers and LTL shipments.
Answer phone calls from outside carriers for dock appointments and enter appointments into SAP using menu ZAPPT.
Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, discrepancy research, and timely resolution of inventory issues.
Identify and escalate non-standard, delayed, or impacted issues to the appropriate team members to help prevent service disruptions.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Certification / Licensure:
None
Work Experience:
At least 1 year prior work experience.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting daily deadlines.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Takes initiative, follows through on assigned work, and reconnects with others as needed to ensure tasks are completed.
Ability to recognize non-standard or impacted issues and escalate appropriately.
Experience processing relevant details, prioritizing their importance, and drawing clear and concise conclusions.
Must be able to work daily overtime (2-3 hours) as needed, including schedule flexibility up to 6 days per week based on business needs.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Work Experience:
Previous warehouse shipping, receiving, cross dock, or inventory control experience.
SAP experience, including creating stock transfer orders and sales orders.
Experience pulling, staging, and shipping expedited shipments.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word+)

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$16.50 - $24.00 HourlyThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
