The DRAM Customer Enablement team serves as the bridge between Micron's newest memory technologies and the systems that deploy them. We help validate, characterize, and enable new DRAM products across hyperscale cloud, AI, enterprise, client, mobile, and next-generation computing platforms.
We are seeking a highly motivated intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience working with cutting-edge memory technologies, cloud computing systems, and AI-assisted software development. This internship provides an opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers while contributing to real-world projects that help bring Micron's latest DRAM innovations to customers.

What You'll Do
As a DRAM Customer Enablement Intern, you will support efforts to validate and enable Micron's newest DRAM products on emerging customer platforms. You will work with engineers across hardware, firmware, systems, and data analytics disciplines to solve complex technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bring-up and validation of new server, client, and/or mobile platforms using Micron's latest DRAM technologies.
- Support system-level testing, characterization, and debugging of memory-related issues.
- Analyze large datasets collected from lab systems and customer environments to identify trends, reliability concerns, and performance insights.
- Develop and improve software tools that automate testing, analysis, and reporting workflows.
- Use modern AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code and similar coding assistants, to accelerate software development, debugging, documentation, and automation projects.
- Collaborate with engineers investigating DRAM reliability, fault management, and system behavior in hyperscale and AI computing environments.
- Assist in evaluating new memory architectures and features designed to improve system reliability, availability, and serviceability (RAS).
- Create visualizations, dashboards, and reports that communicate technical findings to engineering teams and leadership.
- Support customer and partner enablement efforts by helping reproduce, analyze, and resolve technical issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that increase engineering productivity through automation and AI-driven workflows.

Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
- Data Science
- Or a related technical field
- Basic programming experience in Python, C/C++, or similar languages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn new technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework or experience in computer architecture, memory systems, or semiconductor devices
- Experience developing software with Python
- Familiarity with Linux environments
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Roo Code, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of data analysis, visualization, or statistical techniques
- Exposure to SQL, cloud platforms, or large-scale data processing
- Understanding of server hardware, system validation, or performance benchmarking
- Interest in semiconductor technologies and next-generation computing systems
