Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Auditor – ISO 50001 EnMS to conduct Energy Management System audits, assess compliance with international standards, and support clients throughout the certification process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ISO 50001 Energy Management System audits in accordance with applicable certification and accreditation requirements.
• Plan, execute, and report EnMS audits across various industry sectors.
• Prepare accurate audit plans, documentation, reports, and certification records within prescribed timelines.
• Evaluate Energy Management Systems for compliance with applicable ISO standards and certification requirements.
• Ensure technical accuracy and timely completion of audit deliverables.
• Conduct effective opening and closing meetings with clients.
• Provide technical guidance and support to clients throughout the certification process.
• Participate in technical discussions and support business development activities when required.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Completion of a recognized EnMS Lead Auditor Course.
• Strong EnMS technical knowledge in accordance with ISO 50003:2021.
• Minimum 3 years of direct industrial experience, including at least 2 years in an energy-related role, OR completion of a recognized 5-day/40-hour energy technical training course.
• Strong understanding of ISO management systems, auditing principles, and certification requirements.
• Strong technical knowledge of Energy Management Systems and energy performance improvement practices.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Strong client engagement and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Good analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage audit assignments effectively.
• Professional, presentable, and capable of building strong client relationships.

Experience

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Energy Management or related industries.
• Practical experience in energy management, energy performance improvement, or related technical areas will be highly valued.
• Experience in auditing and certification environments will be an advantage.
