Job Description:
Parsons is seeking an exceptionally talented Office Manager/Staff Officer to join our team! As a key member of the Executive Secretariat Division, you will independently perform a wide range of functions requiring vision, leadership, and proficiency in developing and communicating correspondence. Your ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems, as well as coordinate across Agency components and integrated program offices, will be central to your success. In this role, you will primarily support Agency Tasker Management for the Executive Secretariat, developing and sharing critical information with the Government Point of Contact for communication to diverse audiences (e.g., NGA, DoD, IC, Federal Government, Congress, and the international community).
What You'll Be Doing:
Gathering, inputting, and retrieving electronic data
Maintaining files and folders
Researching and analyzing information to prepare reports, presentations, and papers
Preparing routine correspondence in accordance with NGA standards
Preparing and distributing briefing and read-ahead materials
Coordinating and managing NCERTS Taskers
Managing multiple projects with varying deadlines in a fast-paced environment; flexibility in working hours may be required to accomplish the mission
Utilizing DoW tasker system applications and processes to prepare periodic taskers, in coordination with government and contractor staff
Preparing staff package status reports and developing metrics to keep leadership informed of late, pending, and new actions
Using Microsoft Office Suite to create, review, maintain, and edit SOPs and informational products
Collecting, processing, organizing, and managing records in accordance with NGA instructions and guidelines
Transferring data across various networks as needed
Organizing and supporting NGA, IC, and DoD joint meetings, forums, and events, as required
Required Clearance:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, plus 8+ years of relevant experience
Demonstrated experience supporting Office Director/Front Office staff or another DoD or IC-level agency
Experience and knowledge using a DoD tasker system
Experience with SharePoint, MS Project, and Visio
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of DoD travel systems and travel reporting
Demonstrated experience analyzing job-related problems and recommending solutions requiring coordination across multiple areas, disciplines, and organizations
Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing programs/projects with diverse objectives
Demonstrated experience implementing business operations process improvements
Knowledge of IC, Department of Defense, and NGA offices and programs
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Familiarity with NGA organizational structure, mission, and SOPs
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with data visualization/reporting tools
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (templates/macros/workflows)
