Job Description

  • 12-month contract based in Auckland CBD

  • Travel to Wellsford project site office if role goes permanent

The Opportunity

Reporting to the State Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic delivery and day-to-day management of ICT operations, supporting project sites throughout mobilisation, operation, and demobilisation phases.

You will combine hands-on technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement and financial management capabilities to ensure our ICT services deliver maximum value to the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, delivery, and optimisation of ICT infrastructure and services across multiple project sites, ensuring reliable and secure operations.

  • Manage ICT site mobilisations and demobilisations, including the deployment of networks, communications equipment, security systems, and end-user technology solutions.

  • Oversee ICT budgets, forecasting, procurement, and vendor performance to deliver cost-effective technology outcomes aligned with business objectives.

  • Act as the primary ICT stakeholder liaison, providing technical leadership, project updates, and expert advice to operational teams and senior management. 

  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, governance, and regulatory requirements while managing ICT risks, business continuity, and service delivery performance.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in ICT support within a complex, multi-site environment.

  • Strong experience managing ICT infrastructure and network environments.

  • Proven experience in project delivery and ICT implementations.

  • Experience with Service Desk and ticketing systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience with ICT budgeting and financial management.

  • Full driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle required.
