This is a full-time, hands-on Receiving role that supports our Production, Shipping, and warehouse teams. You will help receive, unload, organize, and move materials so our operations can continue safely and efficiently.

Pay and Schedule
- 2nd shift: 3:00pm-11:00pm, starting at $17.00/h, plus an 8% shift premium
- 3rd shift: 11:00pm-7:00am, starting at $17.00/h, plus an 8% shift premium
- Full-time, hourly position
- Paid weekly. Every Thursday!

One Role Supporting Multiple Teams
This Receiving position helps POLYWOOD® receive and move the materials needed to build and ship quality furniture. You will support material flow across Production, Shipping, and warehouse operations. You must be willing and able to work safely around equipment, materials, and changing business needs.
What You Can Learn
Depending on your assignment, you may build experience in:
- Receiving and unloading inbound materials
- Forklift and spotter truck operation
- Material handling and skid management
- Inventory movement and staging
- Work-in-process and finished-goods organization
- Basic inventory tools, scanners, and checklists
- Warehouse and Production support
- Workplace safety and equipment inspections
- Team-based problem-solving
- Continuous improvement

What You’ll Do
Your responsibilities may include:
- Operate forklifts and spotter trucks to move materials safely and efficiently
- Unload inbound trucks and stage materials for Production
- Manage work-in-process skids, finished goods, and skid stock
- Organize and maintain the skid yard to support a clear and accurate flow of materials
- Empty hoppers and support departments with timely skid movements
- Complete daily forklift safety inspections and promptly report concerns
- Communicate shift handoffs clearly between 1st and 3rd shift teams
- Use scanners, checklists, or basic inventory tools as needed
- Identify and report safety, quality, material, equipment, or inventory concerns
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Work with teammates and leaders to meet daily Receiving, Production, and Shipping goals

Previous warehouse, material handling, receiving, Production, Shipping, logistics, forklift, or heavy equipment experience is helpful, but it is not required. Forklift certification is a plus.
We will also consider candidates whose other hands-on experience has prepared them to work safely, accurately, and as part of a team.

Work Environment
Receiving work is active and can be physically demanding. Depending on the assignment, you may:
- Stand or walk for most or all of the shift
- Stay actively moving throughout the shift
- Repeatedly lift, move, and position items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Perform repetitive hand, arm, or body movements
- Bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and carry materials
- Work around forklifts, spotter trucks, machinery, Production equipment, and noise
- Wear required personal protective equipment
- Work at a steady pace while maintaining safety, organization, and accuracy
You must be able to perform the essential functions of the assigned position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Full-time, non-exempt employees who have completed 60 days of continuous employment and are regularly scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week may be eligible to participate in voluntary benefit plans.
