About the Team
The Asset Management Risk team partners with business leaders to proactively identify, assess, and monitor risks across the organization. The team plays a critical role in protecting the interests of the firm, its clients, and associates by helping ensure effective risk management practices and strong internal controls.
Position Overview
As a Risk Management Intern, you will gain exposure to the processes and tools used to identify, analyze, and report on business and operational risks within Asset Management. You will also get opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across Investment Management, Trading, Operations, Technology and Compliance. You will work alongside experienced risk professionals to support risk assessments, monitor emerging risks, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen controls and business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and assessing potential risks across Asset Management business functions.
- Support the analysis, aggregation, and reporting of significant and emerging risks.
- Participate in risk monitoring activities, regulatory developments and help maintain risk-related documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to evaluate the effectiveness of controls and recommend process improvements.
- Prepare data analysis, presentations, and reports for management review.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives that enhance the firm's risk management framework.
- Deliver a defined risk or process-improvement project, presenting recommendations at the end of the internship.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, business, accounting, risk management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Able to organize complex information and communicate clear insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Python or other data-analysis tools would be advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Interest in financial services, asset management, and risk management.
