Summary:
In the role of Database Administrator, a typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems to support organizational needs. This includes installing and configuring database management systems, ensuring their optimal performance, and developing comprehensive procedures to handle daily maintenance tasks. The role requires proactive problem-solving to address any issues that arise, ensuring data integrity and availability. Collaboration with various teams to align database solutions with business requirements is a key aspect, alongside continuous monitoring and tuning of database environments to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices in database management to ensure security and compliance.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align database strategies with organizational goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP CO Management Accounting.
- Experience in database installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Ability to develop and implement backup and recovery strategies.
- Familiarity with database security protocols and data integrity measures.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex database issues.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP CO Management Accounting.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
