What you’ll do?
As Commercial Manager for our Infrastructure Services business in Victoria and Tasmania, you’ll help shape how we deliver Good Work across a broad and fast-moving portfolio. This is a role with real influence, partnering closely with senior operational and commercial leaders to drive commercial performance, manage risk, and support smart decision-making across the business.
You’ll be trusted to bring clear thinking, commercial discipline, and a forward-looking mindset. It’s a role for someone who can balance high standards with a down-to-earth approach, build strong relationships, and help teams move with confidence when it counts.
Lead commercial strategy and performance across the Victorian and Tasmania Infrastructure Services business.
Partner with operational and finance leaders to support planning, forecasting, contract delivery, and commercial decision-making.
Identify, manage, and mitigate commercial risk, including contract, cost, and compliance matters.
Support negotiations, claims, variations, and contract administration to protect business outcomes and customer relationships.
Coach and influence teams to lift commercial capability, accountability, and performance across the business.
Review tender and contract documentation to identify commercial risks and opportunities.
Manage subcontractor and supplier commercial arrangements to support successful project delivery.
Provide expert guidance on contract administration, claims and commercial governance
How you’ll connect to the role?
Significant commercial management experience in infrastructure, civil construction, utilities, or a related services environment.
Strong knowledge of contract management, risk, cost control, and commercial governance.
A confident, collaborative style with the ability to build trust and work side by side with leaders and project teams.
Strong judgement, clear communication, and the ability to stay calm, pragmatic, and switched on in a fast-paced environment.
A tertiary qualification in commerce, law, engineering, quantity surveying, or a related field.
