RotatingOverview:
Sentara Princess Anne Hospital NICU is hiring a Flexi, Rotating-shift Administrative Associate.
Hours/Shift:
Flexi; rotating hours vary. Working Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and on weekends.
Also working 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday and every other weekend, as needed.
The Administrative Associate is responsible for various administrative and operational tasks. This position provides clerical support, manages patient records, schedules appointments, and handles patient inquiries. The role involves collaborating with medical staff, management, and patients to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
Provides administrative support to the unit or department assigned. Serves as first point of contact for patients, family members and visitors on unit assigned requiring the application of excellent customer service skills.
Education
High School Grad or Equivalent Required.
Experience
Excellent Customer Service Skills (Strongly Preferred)
Excellent Communication Skills (Strongly Preferred)
Excellent Time Management, Multi-tasking, and Prioritizing Skills (Strongly Preferred)
Microsoft Office Knowledge, including Word and Excel (Preferred)
Medical Office Experience (Preferred)
Customer Service Experience in a Medical Environment (Preferred)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $19.53 - $28.86 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
