Deputy General Manager – Premium Gastro Pub

We’re working with a fantastic food-led pub near Windsor as they search for a passionate and hands-on Deputy General Manager to become an integral part of their team.

This is a thriving operation where great food, warm hospitality and a genuine team culture sit at the heart of everything they do. With busy services throughout the week and Sundays regularly seeing 250 to 300 covers, they are looking for someone who loves getting stuck into a fast-paced pub environment and leading from the front.

Responsibilities as the Deputy General Manager…

• Working closely with the General Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the pub and ensure every service runs smoothly
• Taking a hands-on approach on the floor, leading from the front and supporting the team throughout busy services
• Leading, motivating and developing the front-of-house team, creating a positive environment where people enjoy coming to work
• Delivering warm, personable and attentive service while ensuring consistently high standards across the operation
• Supporting the commercial performance of the pub, with an understanding of revenue and the confidence to develop your knowledge of the wider business

You’ll have previous management experience within a quality, food-led pub, restaurant or similar hospitality environment and will be someone who genuinely loves being on the floor and amongst the team.

You’ll be a real foodie with a passion for brilliant hospitality, a strong work ethic and a natural ability to bring out the best in those around you. Most importantly, you’ll be ambitious and eager to continue developing your career, with the drive to become a General Manager in the future.

Due to the location of the pub, you will need to drive and have access to your own vehicle.
