Mission Overview:
Keystone Solutions is seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Data Engineer for a consultancy mission at a client site. You will play a crucial role in implementing Microsoft Fabric, guiding the internal team based on best practices, and transferring knowledge through structured coaching and training. This position offers the opportunity to be the driving force behind the implementation, building the foundation, setting up pipelines, and demonstrating optimal approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Fabric, from foundation to production-ready solutions.
- Design and build a Medallion Architecture within Fabric, following industry best practices.
- Develop scalable, reliable data pipelines using Python notebooks and Fabric Data Engineering tools.
- Integrate Power BI DevOps practices into the data development workflow.
- Provide hands-on coaching, workshops, and knowledge transfer sessions to upskill the client’s data team.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and ensure smooth handover for long-term ownership.
About You:
- Proven experience implementing Microsoft Fabric in production environments.
- Strong track record in building Medallion Architectures, data pipelines, and Fabric-based data solutions.
- Proficiency in Python, notebooks, and modern data engineering workflows.
- Familiarity with Power BI, DevOps practices and tools.
- Excellent communication and training skills, able to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Team player who can both lead initiatives and work collaboratively.
- Hands-on problem solver, not just a designer or architect.
